Product Description
Float shoe is attached on the casing bottom and provide buoyancy to the casing string while it's lowered, reducing the load on the drilling rig. The round nose guides the casing away from ledges and obstructions in the well bores as the casing is lowered. A build-in check valve provides buoyancy to the casing string also prevents cement from re-entering the casing after it is displaced.
Features:

Application
Float equipment serves as the backbone of casing equipment used during primary cementing operations. It guides the casing to total depth and prevents contaminated mud from entering the casing. Also it provides a landing point for casing wiper plugs, reinforces the lower end of the casing string, and ensures greater accuracy of cement slurry displacement.
Characteristics:
1) For float shoe, the rounded nose profile helps guide casing string.
2) The valve is made with phenolic material and molded with high strength concrete. Both of the valve and concrete are easily drillable with PDC or rock bits.
3) High strength design ensures excellent performance for flow endurance and back pressure holding.
4) Saves considerable running-in time with automatically fill up.
5) For non-rotating float collar, the special non-rotating groove design ensures corresponding cementing plugs drilled out quickly.
